March 2024 Newsletter

“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

Now that we’re in the final stretch of the first quarter, a sense of urgency seems to be working its way through the economy. Or at least that’s the feeling that the business news commentators seem to be emphasizing. There are many reasons for a heightened level of alertness: will the decrease in mortgage rates from a peak of 8.01% in October to 7.22% at the end of February continue?, will the S&P 500 move past its all-time high?, and will the Federal Reserve decrease interest rates this year? All of these macro topics can have a tangible effect on our businesses but unfortunately aren’t predictable.

At Private Eyes, we’ve been busy running at full speed to bring improvements to our business (some of which are listed below) and have continued to tackle challenges as they appear one at a time. If interest rates drop and the economy continues at record low unemployment levels then this could shape up to be a strong year for businesses of all types throughout our economy. Although we hope for the best, we will continue to focus on our business and let the economy take care of itself.

As always, please reach out to our team with any questions.

Stay Safe & Healthy
